Morven Cottage has been regularly inspected by Quality in Tourism at 4 stars (excellent standard throughout; latest inspection March 2019). During 2017 Morven Cottage was let for 48 out of 52 weeks (we need to keep some weeks free for redecoration); for 36 of these 48 weeks the guests had stayed with us before and had chosen to rebook.
Morven Cottage sleeps 4 guests (plus a cot) in very comfortable and warm accommodation. The cottage is open all year round and is decorated, furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Morven Cottage is in Ambleside Road, a quiet residential area on the edge of the centre of Keswick and adjacent to St. John's Church. Morven Cottage has its own gated drive, two private off-road parking spaces adjacent to the cottage and a private and enclosed patio/garden area with Lakeland slate benches. Free wireless internet access is available. Please note that smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
We are members of both the Keswick Tourism Association and Quality in Tourism (recent November 2015 annual inspection for 2015/16 at 4 stars (excellent standard throughout)).
Morven cottage is very popular with many guests returning each year. We are normally booked for 48-50 weeks per year, with many of our visitors coming back year after year, and so we recommend early booking.

An initial payment of £100 is required to reserve any week at the cottage (please e-mail or telephone to confirm that a week is still available and to make a preliminary booking). The balance remaining should be paid two weeks before the stay together with a refundable deposit of £50 which will be returned within 10 days of the end of the holiday if there are no breakages or damage (this deposit does not apply if you have stayed with us before). Payment can be made by cheque or by BACS transfer (please e-mail for account details).
